Dear Santa

Today was a day spent recovering from the excesses of a free bar at the office Xmas Party last night. Not been sick after a night in the booze for a long time!

This afternoon we took the children to see Santa at the local shopping centre. Before we left, my son presented us with this list. Which was great, but he also produced a (slightly different) list after studying the Smyths Toy catalogue a few weeks ago and this is what we had based our (sorry) Santa's present buying on. Cue an explanation that he won't necessarily get things that are on this list, not least a telescope which has come from left field. The list went onto a second page and had a drawing of Santa on the front.
