Dolly's Day

NIL - NIL

NEWCASTLE UNITED - 0
SWANSEA - 0

Went to the match this afternoon. They had a tribute to Gary Speed as his widow was in attendance. We sang the hymn " Bread of Heaven " and there was a minute's applause before the kick off. My blip shows the hymn sheet with a photo of Gary on the front. Tried to stop it getting creased but lost the battle.

It was a good match even though there were no goals. Can't believe Newcastle didn't score as they had so much of the play. Newcastle goalie Tim Krul must have been bored stiff as he had very little to do.

I was wrapped up like an Eskimo at the match but was still cold. Then went shopping afterwards. Shops were packed and boiling hot. So I was overdressed and hot and bothered. Didn't get home till 8pm and I was worn out. Hence the late blip and no commenting at all. Will try to catch up tomorrow.
