Splash of Red

I know I've blipped our Northern Cardinal bird a few times. I was surprised when this fellow landed just a few feet from me, so I couldn't resist getting a few photos. The Mrs.Red Bird was close by, but not close enough for a group portrait. haha. The male is a wonderful splash of red on these winter days. At least the sunshine was out and he really was popping with the late sun hitting those red feathers.

A busy week coming up, trying to wrap up Christmas..(literally) lol
