Xmas window

Monday started okay. Sun & a clear sky. Due to an administration job I couldn't go out with the camera in the middle of the day when the clouds came in the sky.

In the house we have since this morning an alternative Xmas tree. No spruce or pine (for a complete ridiculous price), but a short stem with some bare branches of a deciduous tree. And yes you guess right, found as scrap wood in the forest (Kralinse bos) after making the photos of the Kralingse Plas.

We put some decoration on the branches, a cord with electric candles ... & there you are.
I used a kind of grunge filter in the after processing to get an effect of looking through a (damaged) window. Well it's a bit as I saw from the outside through the - from the cold rain - steamed up window of the back yard door. And it is also meant to be somewhat different of other pictures of Xmas trees with clear shining decorations ... ;)
