Ho Ho Ho

It snowed overnight. A lot. I woke up when a ton of it came sliding of the roof and landed on the terrace. It dumped an impressively sized wall of snow outside the door that had Moot reconsidering his options quite quickly.

Normally he likes to scoot out and hide under the table or stare at the birds. Today there was just a bit of tail-swishing and a very quick retreat into the warm. He has remained curled up since then.

Today was a visit to the Arbeits Agentur (the German equivalent of the Dole Office) and all the fun and games that that entailed. I have to apply for a PDU1 from Britain and I'm thinking that will probably take weeks what with Christmas, New Year and any future industrial action. Anyway, I have an appointment there with someone next week and we shall see what we shall see.

As we were walking away from the place a tree gave me a present of a lot of snow just between the collar of my jacket and my neck. That made a couple of people laugh. I laughed about it a bit later (actually when I wrote today's title).

Today's Blip I liked because of the contrast of the tree and snow with the orange building behind.
