I like these old scales, perhaps I can come back and take a better picture of them on another day when I'm not so full of the cold and feeling a little brighter.

Today I attempted to find the form I had to fill in to get a statement of the National Insurance contributions I have paid. I don't know how often you visit the website of HMRC but I bet it isn't in your personal top ten. Cue a lot of frustrated searching for PDU1 - which is how the form is referred to here in Deutschland. Alas not by HMRC - there it is known as Personal Document U1. How naive I was.

Still, filling out the form wasn't difficult and thankfully I do have my last payslip and P60s from the previous three years.
