Christmas pud al Tesco. fresco.

For the past 20 plus years this hawthorn bush on the wide grass verge outside a sizeable house has been decorated at Christmas time.

It is about 8 ft tall and has a mesh blanket of lights over it that looks just like the brandy sauce poured over it when it is night time.

I wonder if the need to keep the pudding trimmed and lit is written into the house deeds, for the tradition has continued even after a change of ownership.
