96 days later

3pm Kings Cross Station, London.

We are back in the UK on our way to York for Christmas after 98 days away.

We've been to 4 countries, on 12 flights with 5 different airlines and spent approximately 46 hours in the air. We've been to the Sumo in Tokyo, eaten homemade Sashimi on a tropical island, visited World Heritage Sites in Kyoto, eaten chilli's in New Mexico, been boiling hot in the tropics and freezing cold in the snow, seen crocodiles, koalas, kangaroos, parrots, whales, dolphins, turtles, tropical fish, manta rays, sheep, tuis, keas, snakes and spiders.

We've climbed volcanos, swam in oceans, climbed a mountain, cycled around Kyoto, visited a Hobbit landscape, walked up a glacier, kayaked in untouched landscapes, camped in spectacular places, explored cities, travelled by bullet train and been to Hollywood. We've experienced a typhoon and two earthquakes.

And this is just the warm up! It's time to sleep, unpack, wash, see friends and family and build our energy for Part 2.
