Learning day by day

Happy Christmas

Can you see the chaos in my front room?

What a lovely day. 07.10 William woke, we managed to keep him snuggling in bed until 07.30 when Carys woke. Both loved their stokings, William actually squealing in delight when he found another present to unwrap. Santa, very thoughtfully had also left two bigger parcels with the stockings. William had been telling me that Ho ho ho was giving him a green coat for about a week now, if he hadn't had the forethought to leave it with the stockings we could have had problems. Carys got her stripey coat aswell as her skipping rope and pencil sharpener!

After breakfast we went to Church where both kids went up to the crib and took part in the offertery procession. Then we phoned Nanna and Poppa to come over. While we were waiting Daddy started cooking and Mummy and two little helpers set the table.

Once N and P arrived we went into the front room to the parcels under tree. William had a balance bike from Mummy and Daddy and Carys a dolls House from Nanna and Poppa. They both had lots and lots of other gifts, two very lucky children, but these were the hit of the day. A guitar and a saxaphone. Carys quickly mastered jimgle bells and twinkle twinlke on the back of the box. William had to be persuaded that his 'tar would be ok beside his bed and really didn't need to be in his bed at bedtime! Thank you very much to anyone reading this who gave them presents.

Lovely dinner prepared by my lovely husband and an afternoon of playing with lots and lots of stuff.
