Phalaenopsis

Finally the time and the inclination (both occurring together!) to get out the macro lens and the tripod and the ringflash.
But what to photograph??
Only ever one choice, really, as the orchid on our bedroom windowsill has put out two spikes of blooms. All because of the tender ministrations and green thumb of Meles, of course. I could never coax another flowering out of one...in less than a year, too!
