All a bit of a blur

Despite day after day nibbling into the checklist bit by bit, I was still left with a few things to clear up today, which I managed to do by lunch time.

Then it was time for the dreaded wrapping (or some of it, at least), organising a change of clothes for tomorrow, and making my way over to Carl's place or 5:00 pm. He organised a lovely bite to eat, we watched a few its and pieces on TV, and then phoned the cross-the-road neighbour who'd suggested earlier in the week that we meet up tonight. Eveyrwhere in town was closing early, but it was business as usual for The Eagles in Glasthule, just like any other Saturday night.

We met Ed, had a few pints together and he came back to Carl's place for a bit more chat, glasses of this and that, and a few tasty sandwiches. It was tomorrow by the time he left.

To be honest, a good deal of the detail of the evening and the night is all a bit of a blur. I do remember it was enjoyable, though.
