Finery Aside

I think I prefer Boxing Day, as an occasion, to its more successful predecessor. We trundle along mimicking the the Christmas tradition, and the day after has much appeal.

Primarily due to left-overs. For some reason, after gluttonous consumption, there is something satisfying about ensuring none of it goes to waste.

Still, family days continue. Aren't we lucky? I can only wish the same fortune for everyone else..
