Christmas Dinner

While our friends back in the United States prepare a holiday meal of turkey or ham, we in Mexico go with what is plentiful - seafood! Most likely these shrimp came from a little further north than our own Zihuatanejo Bay, but they were deliciously fresh none-the-less. Our son prepared a fabulous spicy red sauce, in which my wife marinated them, prior to my efforts on the barbeque. Combined with some wonderful roasted vegetables and a great salad, our family had a very memorable Christmas dinner on the patio with our neighbor and her daughter.
