Dad's medals

Santa brought me a mini-studio for Christmas and I tried it out this afternoon with some campaign medals from my little box of treasures. These belonged to my dad and two grandads. My grandads both served in the First World War while my dad served through the Second World War.

The house needed a good tidy today after our four-day Christmas. We have two vacuum cleaners and Vac 1 went on the blink. Then Vac 2 died as soon as it was plugged in. So we went to a shop and treated ourselves to a first new vacuum cleaner in umpteen years. It was so exciting everyone wanted to vac when we got back so the place looks uber clean now.
