Air

After yesterday's wind and rain put paid to a walk I was like a cross legged dog this morning desperate to get out and run.

Our guests left early as usual and we weren't far behind them. The air was wonderful, the colours strong. I hadn't missed my camera these last few days, but today I was back on the trail of which shot.....

It has been a lovely relaxed few days, and tonight we enjoyed finally having a little space to bring out the cheese board. Although I think I was enjoying the chutneys more than the cheese. Left over Cranberry Sauce and Stilton, yum. It almost makes up for my fears for my girl off out into town tonight.

Now which will give me the biggest nightmares, the cheese, or her?
