Olton Friary

Took a long walk from Olton to Solihull today to blow away yesterday's train grumps.

I'm always struck by the number of cars here and the last twenty minutes of my walk was spent walking by slow moving cars and trying to cross busy roads. Spot the out of towner....

We're visiting Shortie's dad and relatives for a few days, so I'm well away from my established blip haunts of sea, sea and cats. So I'll retreat to nice churches and buildings for a bit!

This is Olton Friary, and St Bernards Road - no further info as I write but I've passed it a few times and it has always caught my eye. There's a cemetery attached, which I may take a wander in tomorrow.
