Epstein's Lucifer

We went to the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery today, and this work is in the vestibule by one of the entrances - really striking...

He used a female model for the head and a male model for the body. It shows Lucifer being cast in to hell, holding his hands out against the flames.

A great place for a visit - loads to see, just as much to blip.

Weather so mild - can't work out whether this is great (can't face the weather we had this time last year!) or worried (freak weather, what this is doing to flora and fauna). Truthfully, living in the minute, it's rather good.
