Beating Burglary

Still at M-in-law's house waiting for the visit from the local police to take a statement. Very nice DC arrived and patiently took all the details and gave us some advice on how to improve security. Best tip? use a piece of wood to jam a sliding patio door mechanism on the inside of a conservatory - cheap but effective!

Nipped out for more door locks, assorted bulbs, aforementioned piece of wood and a quick supermarket shop. Net curtains put up at windows by use of sticky velcro and bad running stitches - but looked OK when they were finished.
