A Present From Scotland

Very early this morning the doorbell went and the postman delivered a very odd shaped parcel. In addition to the 2 tins of Scottish Fudge I think this means: Your Mother Thinks You Have Too Many Teeth) there were 5 packets of Ginger Nuts (I think this means: Your Dentist Needs More Money). I now have enough sugar based proucts to last for at least the whole year.

I quite liked the design on the tins though. Christmas used to mean either an Oor Wullie or a Broons annual to read. I suspect that this is probably only a Scottish thing.

Today has been a funny day. The weather was rubbish again and so I have not ventured out further than the roof terrace (I spent quite a while trying to persuade Moot to come in from under the table but he was having none of it). Consequently I've spent 5 hours revising German - going back over those exercises where I know I have a few problems. Prepositions are always a good way to scunner me. They aren't used the same way in German as they are in English it's quite difficult to deprogram your brain. Or at least I find it difficult.

I posted the link to Kolaveri Di a few days ago and have found that the song is indeed global - here's a flash mob in NZ with it. Over 600,000 views - this could have been the Christmas No 1 in so many countries...
