Mr Coyote

Mr Coyote is heading home after a night of rabbit hunting. Rabbits are getting scarce this time of year, but soon new litters will start munching on the watered and fertilized grasses around the golf course. Then hunting will become easier.

Today one of our golfers saw a rabbit chasing a roadrunner. We visualized that this was a mother bunny protecting her nest.

On closer inspection, this coyote appears to be well fed and not scrawny like most of his relatives. Of course he may be hiding his ribs behind a winter coat.
