London Plane

During the course of our walk in Dublin yesterday we passed Trinity College. In the gusting breeze came a squadron of flying leaves from one of the London Plane's for which we have our previous colonial masters to thank. Some were huge. I joke not, at least 12" or 30cms in diameter (if such an irregular shape can have a diameter!). This one was a medium size. I quickly picked it up and thrust it into Mrs. Joesblip's handbag for safe transportation home. Makes a handy blip for today when energy levels and creative thoughts are pretty low. We are off to a jazz concert tonight to recharge the batteries.
