A Sasanach's Skye photos

By Sasanach

Just for a change....

Just for a change it is not blowing a hooly. There are some wintery showers interspersed with sunny periods. It is damp and cool. There are still a few visitors about.

I was surprised to listen to the radio and find that much of the United Kingdom is having wild weather; bridges closed; vehicles being blown over; trees down. Places as close as Glasgow are experiencing unpleasant conditions, but here on Skye it is just a normal winters day.

The photograph is of a cascade that I am lead to believe is known as The Angel Falls. Beyond it is the Storr presently blanketed with snow. When I took this photograph it was about to come on to snow again.
