Bawbag's Big Brother

Two

We knew all about it at 8 am. By 8.30 am, there was gusts of around 91mph, trains were off, warnings of "don't go out" from the BBC, Met Office Red Alert, and even the Kingston Bridge was closed.

This heavy ridge section crashed down on our new extension roof, damaging several slates in the process. I took this for insurance company evidence you understand, taking a risk whilst hanging out of the shower room window. The roof slopes at about 30 degrees. CJ has managed to get it down, as we were concerned it may cause further damage if it fell from here.

#1's motorbike blew over, and we have a large length of metal ridge (or hip) flashing in our garden belonging to we know not who.

Next Door have been in to view the damage to their roof from our bedroom window.

And the roofer is on holiday until next Monday 9th.
