Warm Trees

I had the house to myself today, so after I'd done a decent stack of practice questions in the morning I decided to go for a walk in the woods.

I was feeling quite lonely so it was nice to go and find company amongst the trees - today there is sunlight written into their bark and they look so warm. For once I resisted the urge to listen to my iPod and nature rewarded me with a chorus of beautiful birdsong.

The weary workers are home now - we are packing up Christmas decorations together while watching 'The Biggest Loser' and hoping we never run into the scary personal trainers!

It's the simple pleasures :)
