Wildflowers

The Eyre Riverbed near near Oxford, Canterbury.

I have had a lovely day out with Firehorse Mia and aliveunwed. Now I am too tired to write about it. I have a feeling that I will be rather sore tomorrow.

Edit: The main flowers here are evening primrose (yellow), vipers bugloss (blue), white daisies, mullein, fennel, hemlock, dock, Yorkshire fog grass, and others I've forgotten. None of them are native to New Zealand. In the bush (native beech forest) I saw a lot of self heal, the native biddibid (Acaena), and tiny buttercups with three widely spaced petals.
