For once, not being curmudgeonly, although the joke was probably Ill-Natured and Unnecessary - bound to be really, considering...

Update on the baby blackbirds: 4th egg still unhatched (not looking good for that one) and between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm, one of the chicks vanished to I know not where. The remaining two have grown remarkably in one day though, so they're getting fed all right.
