investigations of a dag

last day of Christmas decorations and the freedom to roam Princess St before the tram churning machine returns. Ach well the sky flashed a bit of blue and the sun came out for the first time this year.

Meanwhile in my head, the general demonic possession of my sinuses is lingering. I'm one very tired human trombone today. Heading to bed to read bulganov, sillitoe, checkov, foster wallace, checkov and shirley jackson. I have a fiendish short story habit at the moment.

Insights of the day

1) Gasconade means blustering, boastful.
2) Come the Zombie apocalypse Ocean Terminal Mall is the place to be. Not only are there shops for supplies but it also backs onto the QE2.
3) tell the truth in one place and it follows you around like an exterminating angel. (which I watched today and thoroughly recommend, especially if you have a fever)

1) it's Fanuary (thanks SarahSmith) time to let those short and curlies roam free. Bit easier in a cold clime.. cannot believe this cancer charity was "horrified"
2) are we all too homocentric?
3) Iraq is very pleasant this time of year
