Maritime Museum Amsterdam

Me and my brother spent the day in Amsterdam today. We arrived yesterday evening and slept in my room so we could start early. We visited the Amsterdam branch of Madame Tussauds, which he had wanted to see for a long time, had lunch and then went to the Maritime Museum or Scheepvaartmuseum which has been renewed completely recently. Mme T was a bit short and very touristy, but funny nonetheless (cheesy pictures with Obama, Eddie Murphy, Einstein); the Maritime Museum was very nice, although crowded. I liked the replica Indiaman Amsterdam most, this picture is shot from the upper deck. The building which houses the museum is the colossal but beautiful seventeenth-century Zeemagazijn or Naval Warehouse. It was a very nice day altogether.
