That's just taking the piss now. A whole week it took to get to the stage where an engineer actually looked at the problem and less than two hours later that message arrived. I've been pretty patient knowing that, after this week's storms, there's no doubt been a run on problems around our telecommunications network but that patience is stretching thin now. I mean, it took Euan and I less than five minutes to put together this hi-tech alternative to see us through until the problem's resolved; surely the boffins at BT could have come up with something better than that obvious playing-for-time, non-commital statement. Pfft.

Need a drink - going to the cellar shed now for a nice red to see me through another weekend of (non-Christmas related) cold turkey. Enjoy your weekend all, and remember, it's good to talk (and surf).
