Another day goes by

A feeling of Deja vu

Friday night was rugby night and tonight we entertained the Hairsprays. At the moment the Hairsprays are 2nd in the league and we are last but one. But there is nothing like being the underdog and starting a fresh new year with a purpose. Didn't we do just that. In all fairness the Hairsparys made 11 changes for tonight but still managed to field several international and their bench was full of them.

The Dragons went into half time 9-6 up, so as expected it wasn't long before the international tidal wave started. The pressure started to build against the Dragons but they held firm. So more internationals came on, one of them being Tommy Bowe. I turned to my boy and told him it would be typical for Tommy to come on and score the winning try. Within 5 mins or so he score the try, but (I mustn't snigger now) they missed the conversion and we stayed in the lead until the final whistle.

This is the reason for the Blip title
