Highgate Common

Not sure this was the best image of the day (none of them were great), but it has the distinction of being the first I have shot on a micro four thirds camera using a Leica lens. The camera was the GF1, the lens the 50mm Summicron wide open at f2 to try to get the background out of focus. Unfortunately other things in the background prevented me getting quite the right angle to the main subject going a bit soft in places.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are doing a great job on the common, and it has certainly improved since they took over.
