Crazy Red

Sunday morning

This sunny sunday morning (yes, sunny...) started early as I headed to a National Park for a brisk walk and photography day. Every month the workgroup Nature and Landscape Photography (which I coordinate) of the Photography Club "De Veluwe" (of which I'm the chairman) gets up bright and early to explore a fine piece of nature.

This time it was a 14 km hike in National Park Sallandse Heuvelrug in the east of Holland. Rolling hills, fields of heather, dark forests, a lot of wildlife (we stumbled on a hind) and typical Dutch weather. Sunny and bright, 20 degrees Celsius and white and dark clouds. It was a feast to walk there and we had lots of fun. Took a lot of pictures too. And no rain! Can you believe it?

This one was taken at the foot of Haarler Mountain which is a wopping 60 meters high... The dark clouds and bright sunlights are great contrasts.

So there it is. Landscape (and weather) photography are the things I love the most. Today no funny faces for you to smile on, but beautiful scenery to enjoy. Tomorrow another SP. Promise.

Crazy Red out.
