At Karnak

The hypostyle hall at Karnak is truly a phenomenal building. Its scale makes mere humans into dwarves. I revisited it today to take many new photographs for my own website, but on this one, I feel that I captured the scale of the place.

To think this was being built while the average British person was wearing furs and woad is awe inspiring!
