Sunset over the Ramesseum

Sunsets here in Luxor are wonderful - on the few days that there are clouds in the sky, sunsets give wonderful colours to them. Here I'm close to the mortuary temple of Rameses II, perhaps the most famous of the pharoahs of ancient Egypt.

I went for a beer with a few friends,(including Egyptunveiled) at the nearby cafe, and within 15 minutes the sunset was glowing - about 5.30 our time - other than summer in Britain, we seem to have more hours of daylight in Luxor - and it really is the best time to take photos.
