Santa Barbara

OK so I have now started work - I am the discussion chair today until 9.30 pm this evening (!!) and as this is a Gordon conference the role of the chair is to make sure discussions after talks last at least 15 mins which is challenging if no one asks any questions. So that means me concentrating intently. Spent the morning relaxing in the sun though, in preparation, and visited Santa Barbara to walk by the harbour. Along the pier there were a couple of war veterans camped out creating works of art in the sand, very worth of a blip.
