Day eleven: Hoi An

Today is the full moon and, as a result, the locals (and of course the tourists too) put lanterns into the water, burn incense, start small fires and generally have a wee party.

Accordingly it was most excellent fun, and the river looked pretty amazing with hundreds and hundreds of lanterns of all shapes and sizes. Very much picture postcard stuff.

Unfortunately it's really hard to photograph at night so instead this is a long-exposure shot of said river with the Japanese Covered Bridge in the background.
