Screwed!!!!!

Today we had our first ride out in 2012 on the motorbikes, Zac and Monica. Zac is my Kawasaki ER-6f and Monica is Peter's Ducati Multistrada.

We went to check tyre pressures, then visited the in-laws to prove that it was possible to ride in the winter (Peter's Dad likes to keep his bike wrapped up nice and warm in the garage, cleaning it incessantly, and keeping it safe from any moisture...we were just itching to get back on ours!)

We got back, pulled into the garage, checked the chains for rust and, as Peter did his, he noticed a 'hissing' sound coming from his back tyre.

The Culprit: A screw, jammed right into the groove.

Dammit!!!!! There were many other photo opps today...the cats lying together on the bed...the bikes parked next to each other in a pretty location...the view from a walk we took this evening...but this is the one that had to be shown and remembered!
