Moon Watch

The girls spun past work at close of play today to give Daddy a lift back home. A very welcome surprise for a Monday. Luckily Mummy was driving as I doubt Toots and Pip could reach the pedals nor work the Sat Nav (GPS).

On the way home through Holyrood Park Toots could clearly see the moon, large and bright.

This called for further investigation. Could this be the start of a new career path for a little girl?

Out came the telescope.

But the moon was hiding behind clouds.

Even Sirius (the dog star) wouldn't come out for the girl in the pussy cat top.

I think Dr Brian Cox can sleep easy in his bed tonight. We'll leave the astronomy for another time.

Well, at least there was chocolate. As can be clearly seen by the smudges around Toot's mouth.

The heavens might be able to hide from Toots but chocolate has no chance!
