Day thirteen: Hoi An

Last full day in Hoi An. Were due to stay one more day but decided, as the weather gloomy for tomorrow, to go to Saigon earlier to have more time in the "proper" south.

We cycled out to Cua Dai Beach, 5km out of town. Is OK but usual beach nonsense: dodgy restaurants, inflatable crap-o-rama, sand, massive waves, salt water crocodiles etc etc. I can now say I have had a foot in the South China Sea, albeit the foot was still in its shoe and was chased up the beach by an inconveniently large wavelet. Thankfully I survived.

Hoi An, I will be sorry to leave you. You have been an excellent town for this few days of holiday.
