Day fourteen: Saigon

Well, here we are at Ho Chi Minh City. It's quite a bit warmer that up north, and as a result I have switched from wine to beer. It's like being on holiday!

Lots of travel today, although we did get out for a sunset ramble to seek out some rooftop terraces. This is from the Sheraton 23rd floor which has a lovely view out west as the various buildings are just being lit up. Was quite nice up there.

We then moved on to dine in (semi-) traditional HCMC style with some French foodstuffs, and then back to our base the good old Majestic (we are not in any way denying ourselves) for nightcap from the riverside SkyBar. Tomorrow is some museum time and then I think Thursday will be out of town to see the Cu Chi tunnels and other French and American war remains.
