Granite Ball

At first, this ball of rock doesn't look very much, but when you realise that it is a single block of solid granite, about 15 cm diameter, sculpted and polished by hand, then it is pretty amazing. It is perfectly spherical and heavy. It was brought to me by a friend, all the way from near Chennai (Madras) in India, where it was handmade by a craftsman.
