The backs of most of the older buildings in Bellingham are generally not as attractive as the fronts. I doubt that anyone would find this example attractive, but it's not typical. Built in 1903 as the Hotel Laube, the building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and has been converted to low-income apartments. It was featured it in my Secret Garden blip.

I'm not sure why I took this photo, but one of the things I like about it is the guy whose head seems to be on fire. I didn't notice it at the time.

P.S. While I was deciding what to blip, I noticed that Ceridwen's blip was about the The Secret Garden story. Not quite a Blipsnap!
