BELIEVE IT OR NOT

Without the photographic evidence it would be hard to convince people that a small shag would eat such a big EEL ( in comparison to its size )!!
BUT Believe it or not I watched this bird in the same pond devour 3 EELs the same size within 5 minutes.

The Eels struggled and fought and wrapped themselves around the shags neck while the shag efficiently bit the eels heads off and then "down the hatch"
