Man In A Tree

Friday started on a jarring note, not helped by Moot helpfully knocking things off other things and then knocking some other things off some other things. And things did not lighten up here all morning. Sentences were short. Nay brusque even and they were not helped by a little Relative Pronoun problem.

Shortly after that we decided to go shoppping and I believe neither of us was really in the mood for it. However,we went for a walk before and that helped enormously.

The Rhein is very high at the moment (part of the Schierstein Hafen had been closed off due to High water levels) and it was interesting to see the piers that were 2 and bit metres ( about 7 feet for any struggling Imperialists out there) lower in summer now floating pretty much level with the footpath. I mean how much water does it take to have that much difference in a river that's the best part of 600 metres across? I can't work that out.

Nature, it's pretty awesome. Which means it's nothing like school, where I'm going to next.
