Through a Glass Darkly

Have been up to my eyeballs with work on a website contract and at the beginning of the week was feeling really despondent after hitting so many obtacles. Then I made some breakthroughs and have been steaming ahead. Forced to take a break today for some childminding of grandchildren (which was a pleasure) - including a walk on the prom.

Our old (nearly 15) standard poodle has been pretty poorly with a badly infected claw. But after two weeks of antibiotics much to our relief he seems to be really picking up, and able to go for at least a short walk again.
