This is one of Katie's excited grins. She was being very cheeky peeking round a rail, leaning out with it.

We have had a very good Saturday. We started out going with a friend to meet Harrison, Aiden & mummy at the play cafe in the village (no, not the one that closed ages ago, the one that's not as good but better than no play cafe!) The children were SO pleased to see each other. They had a great time running about, and made the grown ups play a lot of hide and seek.

After the play cafe we drove over for her swimming lesson. She had a lot of fun. She jumped in about 20 times in the time it took for 3 sings of humpty dumpty. We were doing star floats today. She had no interest doing it on the side, did it on the woggle for a while, happily did it on mummy. She went very quickly across the pool when she spied Ava. She was swimming a bit with her foam float, did some really good woggle swimming, loved chasing the eggflips and spent lots of time trying to play peekaboo with her teacher. It was nice as after the lesson we saw quite a few friends in the other bit of the pool .

She did well having some lunch after swimming and ate pretty well, before we went off to our next bit of the day. We were meeting the landlord of a house we viewed on Tuesday. It's in the catchment of the school I really hoped she could go to but thought I'd never find a house. But today, he confirmed - WE CAN HAVE IT!! We're going to be neighbours to Ava too. The girls (and Mummies!) will love it!!!
