Our San Lorenzo River, water flowing under the highway, under the footbridge, all the way to the ocean. We walked along the footpath for awhile, making a loop around back to the car. Now I am waiting for dough to rise, and soon we will have a nice pizza with escarole, garlic and roasted walnuts--a good winter meal.
