First flowers of 2012 ...........

Another fierce frost last night , everywhere was white over again this morning. The up side is the blindingly bright sunshine , I just love these kind of days.
I was out shopping yesterday, and couldn't resist buying a couple of bunches of daffodils. I chose bunches that were all tightly closed, yet , by this afternoon, a couple had already started to bloom.
