Journey Through Time

Splat

A brief snow shower hit and the flakes got big for awhile. They were hitting this plant and I went out and snapped this image right after one went splat right on this leaf.

Trying to figure out this whole camera bag business. Returned one and got another. Seemed like it would work but my camera and lens is a very, very, tight squeeze, and really doesn't work very well. So...I'm taking that one back too. Guess I'll think on it and just re-group.

Bill is actually back to work. A man that he worked with is going to go out on sick leave and they asked Bill to come in and help for awhile.

To anyone reading this who smokes, think about this please:

This man, a pack and a half a day smoker, and also fond of his nightly 4 beers, has developed cancer in his mouth and on his tongue. He will undergo surgery to have part of his tongue taken out. He doesn't know how much they will take and is concerned if he will be able to talk after this. Oh, it get's better...well, it get's worse actually. This man will have to undergo radiation also and they told him that the radiation will kill his teeth and he has to have all of his teeth pulled.

So, are YOU going to be the smoker that gets to live to 104 without any issues, or are you going to be the smoker that gets mouth cancer, lung cancer, emphysema, throat cancer, lip cancer....well, you get the picture. And it ain't very pretty, either.
