University of Edinburgh Anatomy Museum

Another madly busy press photocall. The University of Edinburgh Anatomy Museum is to open to the public on a regular basis for the first time. Starting on Saturday 28th January it will open on the last Saturday of every month (10am-4pm). Visitors wil be able to see a wide variety of exhibits relating to the study of anatomy with numerous skeletons of both people and animals, as well as several more macabre exhibits, such as the death mask of the infamous murderer William Burke. Here Gordon Findlater, director of the Anatomy department, is pictured getting up close and personal with the William Burke death mask.
